Melissa:
Melissa Marter BA, CPDT-KA is a certified obedience trainer through the Certification
Council for Professional Dog Trainers. Certified in pet first aid, certified through the AKC
as a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, and has been training and sitting dogs in her home for
over 10 years. Formerly a NYC investigator with a BA in Criminal Justice, Melissa
changed career paths and is now enrolled in a Masters program for a degree in Animal
Behavior Science. Melissa's training methods are designed to match the temperament of
each dog. With her love for all animals big and small she is truly an animal lover.
Richie:
Running the business along side Melissa, Richie is a supportive husband and dedicated
father of 3 children and 5 dogs. He helps to keep finances under control by limiting the
spending of all the women.
Cassie:
Cassie has been with our family for 2 years now and is the manager at Who's Your Doggie.
She's a full time student at Housatonic Community College in Bridgeport majoring in fine
arts. She is also a Mary Kay independent beauty consultant. She hopes that with her extra
income, she can spread the word and help find animals good homes.
Katie:
Although Katie has only been with us since January, she has shown us that she is a
dedicated, hard working , outstanding employee. She loves dogs, and plans to work with
animals for the rest of her life.
Tshiluay:
She is a nanny, a student at Housatonic Community College, and a wonderful hard working
dedicated employee for us for over a year. Since she can't have dogs where she lives she
enjoys spending time with them here.
Charisse:
When not working as a Probation Officer she volunteers her time with the dogs. Its a
refreshing break from the bad guys.
Anna:
Anna runs the front desk Monday - Friday. Although she is a Certified Nurse Assistant,
she would rather work for WYD full time. Anna is wonderful with the customers and the
dogs. She has 2 dogs of her own and is very succesfull at keeping WYD organized and
running smooth. Or as organized as it will ever be!
Jewel, Kevin and Ariel:
All are volunteers for WYD. They are dedicated and absolutely love dogs. Well they
must, they pick up poop for free! We are gratefull to them for their dedication.
Arlene:
Arlene is a student and has been with WYD for 2 years. Unfortunately she will be moving
away in the summer and she will be hard to replace. She is wonderful with dogs and is one
of our girls who spends the night with them at WYD.
